Motherwort is a hardy perennial herb in the mint family, recognised by its deeply lobed leaves and clusters of small, soft pink to lilac flowers that bloom along the stems in summer. Directions for use

For tea, infuse 1 teaspoon of dried Motherwort in hot water for 5–7 minutes. The flavour is naturally bitter and may be blended with other herbs if desired.
For incense or ritual use, burn a small pinch on charcoal or add to herbal blends.
