Organically grown Betony – Stachys officinalis in a 9cm pot.                            A charming native perennial with wrinkled, scalloped green leaves forming a neat basal rosette, topped in summer by upright spikes of rich pink-purple flowers. Growing to around 60cm tall, Betony brings vertical interest to borders while retaining a natural, meadow-like character. Its flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, making it a valuable addition to wildlife friendly gardens.

Uses

Historically prized in Traditional herbalism, Betony was used as a nervine herb and associated with relaxation, headaches and digestive wellbeing. Growing Information
