Hawthorn Tincture Heart-Supporting Herbal Tincture. A traditional herbal remedy made from organically grown Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna), known in Welsh as Draenen Wen. This small tree is beloved for its frothy white spring blossoms and bright red autumn berries, often found in hedgerows and woodland edges. Our tincture is handmade in small batches using the young leaves, flowers, and berries, infused in organic alcohol to preserve their vital properties.

Hawthorn has long been valued in herbal medicine as a tonic for the heart and circulatory system. Folklore

Deeply woven into folklore across the British Isles, Hawthorn is a tree of threshold and transformation. It is sacred to fairies and often associated with the heart, both physically and emotionally. In old traditions, Hawthorn was planted near homes for protection and love, and it was said to bloom most abundantly in the presence of joy and harmony.
