Folklore

Skullcap has a long association with calm, boundaries and the settling of unrest. In folk tradition, it was regarded as a plant that brings order where there is agitation, helping to quiet excess and restore composure. Though not surrounded by grand myth, Skullcap earned respect as a steadying presence, often turned to during times of strain, shock, or prolonged worry. Its modest appearance and preference for waterside habitats contributed to its reputation as a plant that works quietly, supporting balance without drawing attention to itself.
